A few years ago, I discovered that "The Bright Morning Star" is actually the planet Venus. I was amazed to see it shining outside my window on winter mornings, and that moment inspired me to paint Jesus as the Bright Morning Star—radiant with life and light. Through color and beauty, I hoped to evoke the wonder and spiritual connection described in the Bible.
